Yeah, I had a defective aortic valve from birth, didn’t realize it until two years ago, doctors detected it prior to my cancer surgery…yep, had neck cancer right at two years ago, six weeks of chemo and 33 radiation treatments, kicked my ****. I’m clear now. The valve replacement in my heart took almost a year to get done…had it scheduled five different times, Covid and staffing pushed it until 11/10. Recovery is on schedule and I should be back to work in about 10 days. Getting old sucks!!!
Congrats on winning the boat, that’s awesome!!! Glad to hear you’re still fishing competitively and are obviously competitive. You don’t win a boat by being lucky. Do you fish with Chuck?
It’s killing me right now with this weather and I’m unable to fish. I live in the Avondale area and part of my rehab is to walk two miles a day…I walk to the Ortega Bridge daily. The river has been slick the last few days, Friday after Thanksgiving it was slick and overcast…screamed trout!
Take care…hope to see you on the water one day. I have a dark blue Sea Pro 228, with a white canvas T-Top.
