Sunday we got off to a late start. But i was in search of tarpon. With no time to stop and throw the net. We headed to the first spot and found what we were looking for BIG tarpon some of the fish were well over the 100lb mark. They were plentiful and rolling all around us. After an hour or so of throwing arties and flies we were off to find some other fish that were more interested in chewing. I knew the fishing would be tough after the full moon. We found tons of jack and ladies. I was on the flounder bite again with 2 keepers. Had one over slot red get off next to the boat. After some trolling motor trouble we were headed home.
Tuesday went out to find the tarpon again. We picked up a few ladyfish and headed to the spot. We got poured on, on and off for a while. We didnt see any rollers until the rain stopped. We picked up to go fish the trees and after stopping at one spot getting a jack, a few ladyfish, a keeper flounder and a snook turned the key to start the boat and nothing. had good power no click no crank, nada. after festering with the neutral switch and ignition switch i called it quits and called sea tow to come save the day. Got towed home. After some diagnosis tonight i got the boat running. i either have a few bad wires in my harness or a bad ignition switch. I guess not too bad for two days that got cut short.
