Tarpon Time: St. Lucie Inlet
Decided to take the little boat out for a quick morning trip today. The plan was to find some cobia on the beach. Found tons of bait up past the house, but no cobes. The snook where everywhere and a great site to see them so plentiful!
I came across the poons rolling on some baits and game on! :hairraiser Tuff fight alone! She worked me for quite some time then I was able to bring her to shore, a quick de-hooking and off she swam strong! Luckily there was a few people on the beach to help & to snap some quick pics.
Tight lines.
