Man I can't believe you can like Russo's and Vinces!!! Vinces is awesome. The chicken salad sub rocks! Russo's always seems dirty, the options aren't that great and the bread sucks!!!
On the other hand I will have to try Padrinos. I always see it but it is kind of one of those places that you just forget when you are hungry. We usually end up at Jersey Mikes. The kids like it!
Padrino's was good however I think their bread leaves a lot to be desired. It was soft (almost spongy) through and through and in my opinion, even Publix has better bread.
For me, a good sub starts with the bread. It should be good and crusty on the outside and soft on the inside.
I had the Monster Sub and I have to say that other than the bread, the ingredients were fresh and piled on.
The lady in your picture made my sub and I told her that I wanted HOT peppers and she loaded it up with SWEET peppers... I hate SWEET PEPPERS... LOL... I scraped them off and still enjoyed the sandwich.
Interesting side note, I built and owned the store where Padrino's is now. I opened it in 2003 as a Quizno's as well as another location. I sold it in 2004 and it has been bought and sold 3 times since.
Lou's Subs in Pompano makes an awesome sandwich.
Bert's Hot Baked Grinders on Okeechobee near I-95 is probably the best sub place I have found to date up in this neck of the woods.
Sarussi's in Miami has the BEST CUBAN SANDWICH you will ever eat! Trust me on this one!
I grew up in Miami and they were around back then... I think George Washington was running for president. Seriously, I just looked them up and they now have 5 locations.
Finally, some mention of Lou's other then me in an earlier post on the first page. I have been going there for years. My dad got me hooked on the place as he has been going for over 25 years. I am suprised more people do not know of that place. Especially with all the fishing stuff they have on the walls.

I had no clue he was a pilot. You are right in that he never works.....i want that job, own a sub shop and go FISH!
Berts moved out west on NE corner of Southern and Cresthaven in the Publix shopping center..
I might have to go there...
Not real familiar with that area.. i'll mapquest it.
I wonder if it is near Wellington.
