Worms in bass?
Lately I have noticed that most of the larger bass caught in a canal in Naples have worms on the roof of the fishes mouth. Now I'm not a squeamish person, but these are just too much. They literally make holes, and I have seen the worms coming out of the holes and generally just moving about in the fishs' mouth. Is this normal for bass down here? The canal the fish come from is pretty nasty in itself, so I was not sure if the water quality had anything to do with it. Just curious if these things are normal. Any insight is appreciated.
