I hang mine from the rafters in my basement using a pair of tie down straps and some heavy duty screw-in rings.

Unfortunately I have nowhere to put them inside since the garage is converted to an apartment.
I leave the kayaks on the trailer, under an oak to provide some shade. I will be creating a cover soon so I don't have to worry about all the leaves anymore.
Sorry, no pic, but mine stay on the cart with the front propped up also. They get used so often its not worth hanging or putting them somewhere else. Wheel it out, into the truck and go!
Mine lay on their sides in the garage propped against a table. I always open a hatch after a trip, since that little bit of water that usually leaks in smells pretty raunchy if you let it sit there without drying out. I prefer a dead roach or two to the smell.
