We might do some sniffing around in the Key Largo/Tavernier area and would like to talk to a knowledgeable waterfront Realtor for that area to see what the market looks like.

She helped us get our place in Islamorada. We sometimes talk about getting another place in the future...I would def call her again.
Met up with Misty! She's a trip! She showed us a good potential fixer-upper just three houses in from Hawk's Channel in Key Largo but when the neighbor told me that he has to occasionally "walk-in" his 23 Mako over some grass flats, I knew that my heavy, 30 Grady wasn't gonna cut it at that place! We'll keep our eye open though.....
Ate at Mrs Mac's Kitchen, Snapper's, Lazy Days and Hog Heaven........ Found some great art work for the new home patio too...... at both Shell World's!

We are now also looking around at condos with boat slips........ and there are some.....
I started by looking at condos,,, ended up in a doublewide MM103 bayside. I skip the monthly HOA's, self insure and I can bring my Lab (80 lbs.) down with me and most condos wont allow a dog that big. We couldn't be happier. The neighborhood (Cross Key Waterways right at Adams Cut) is really terrific and we've made a lot of new friends. Now of I could just get the renovations finished and go fishing!
One other thing. Veepka was able to set up an automatic search of the MLS everyday that would list all of the updates to the MLS within my search criteria. She'd send me (automatically) an email with a link that would take me to a page that would post all of these updates (new listings, price change, status change). It made keeping up with the updates easy,,, and the one thing I found is good deals go really really quick. If you don't know about them the first day you're going to miss them.
