Well, I'm a little bummed. I can't go today either. My phone screen is cracked straight down the middle and is going to cost a pretty penny. I also have three classes worth of online homework.

Oh well, next year it is...

I sent them a not so happy email. Last year they had one guy doing the deer scoring, and there was over a three hour wait to get it done, after mine had sat on the table for over two hours already.(and I watched him knock a deer head off the table with his fat caboose)
This year i got there early on purpose to get my deer head in. Could not find the booth, and noone seemed to know either. After two hours I found some other dude carrying his deer head around. He couldn't find it either

We went and found the head honcho of the event. He said the scorers "didn't show up", and gave us our money back

I simply said int e email he needed to either staff up that aspect of the show, or do away with it all together

Hey all....I wanted to say that I went to the Big Buck Expo on Saturday. I had not ever been before and was skeptical about going based upon some of the posts, but after reading "cetchdawg"s" post that it is a "must see" if you have not ever been, I decided to make the drive from Jupiter. I can tell you I am glad I went. There were a lot of Outfitters there trying to sell hunts, but overall I thoroughly enjoyed it. I even ran into one of my buddies who is one of the team members of "Killin' IT Outdoors" at their booth. I did purchase some turkey calls and other items, so I considered it a day well spent.

Yea, it is a haul from Jupiter, and we did spend the night in Tampa. Of course, the wife said she would do her "hunting" right there at the Hardrock Casino while I was at the Expo! LOL.
