extracting a broken screw

i got a 4/0w last night and i thought it was just missing a screw in the side plate. no big deal right. upon further inspection the screw is broken off flush with the reel frame. is there any way to get this screw out or am i just better off taking it to a shop and having them take it out.

If you have a way to drill it out and retap the hole you can DIY. If not get it done professionally.

You can go to ACE Hardware and get screw extractor bits that have one end as like a cutter to cut a thread reversed and the other side of the bit has a matching thread.

Thats how I get broke off screws out with ease. Works like a champ
