  Let them stay up there in the heat. I bet it gets close to 180 degrees in a Florida attic. Takes care of over crowded jails and helps the budget at the same time.

  How is this in any comparable to the case where he initiates criminal acts outside of his jurisdiction (Colorado)?

  Sheriff Judd's dept. ordered the book from Greaves. They initiated the crime. He was only able to establish jurisdiction by getting the book mailed to FL. Internet crimes do, in fact, have jurisdiction just like any other.
