Stuart Inlet

I got up late and decided to take the boat for a little run. Went out of the Stuart Inlet with hopes of catching some live bait and maybe drop them over at sandhill. Left the inlet and couldnt find any bait. I am new and heard they are just north of the inlet but not today. No birds , nothing. So, I went inside to the little cove area and had a nice swim. A couple of manatees were swimming around which was pretty nice to see. Other than that, still trying to figure this out. I miss fishing out of Jupiter.

    Joey,

PM me and I will give you my personal contact information. I would be happy to talk with you and give you some pointers which should start you in the right direction.

Ask nicely and a lot of the old timers (not in age but in tenure) will also help you out.

Whatever you do, don't become discouraged.. you just need to get in the groove.

    Cheers

    Eric

Thanks for the report, Joey. It's not just you, there's been a lot of slow days around here lately. You just need to get lucky and drive by some fish. Keep at it you'll score.

Alot of the bait has been to the south of the inlet and no our fishing grounds don't compared to what your used to. Sometimes I call it the dead zone.

"Great" fishing is when you actually catch fish. Everything else is just "good" fishing.
