Canon deemed the loudest cameras; scare birds

There's an article in the paper talking about the loudest birding gear and how a particularly loud rig should be avoided because they actually scare the birds. Read about it in the Orlando Sentinel paper.

    OK.....I'll rise to the bait (i know how you guys are).....
    the shutter noise from my canons has never spooked a bird...ever....
    there is always more than enough ambient noise to cover up shutter noise....even on nikons.....lol...
