  My feeling on jig colors is any color is good as long as it is white. I keep trying other colors but keep coming back to white.

  I like the Gulp shrimp, paddle tails and curly tails.  I catch fish on other plastic baits, but the Gulps are consistent.  I swap back and forth between White or new penny as far as color goes.

    I agree with Captain James,but I've only seen new penny
  in a shrimp style.Does not have action of white curly tail.

  I like Gulp tails and DOA shrimp for most inshore fishing and use them occasionally but I seem to keep going back to bucktail jigs...yellow/red heads with white bucktail in 1/4 and 3/8 oz.  I don't think there is an inshore species I haven't caught with a bucktail.

  Don't fish your area but a #3 Reflecto Barracuda spoon and a white bucktail can cover a lot of fishing.
