  I was wondering how the hatch was. I generally compare it to the number of peafowl that are out of control in my neighborhood. Last year every female had 1-4 babies and they were hatched in May. This year I see hardly any females with young ones. The one we do see were born considerably later than last year.

  Seeing the same with turkeys this year. Some hens have a good number of poults with them this year but overall quite a few less than the last few years.

  I've seen 10 poults end up being 2 poults in a few weeks..

  Agreed. Once they can fly, their survivability goes up exponentially!
