Fishing Friend

Oops should have posted in here.

Hi everyone!   Awesome forum and I look forward to learning.

I am new to the Punta Gorda Area and figured I would ask if anyone would ever like a fishing friend?   I am willing to help out with whatever and pull my own weight and then some.

Primarily into saltwater but willing to do whatever.

Thanks!

Would check and see if there are any facebook groups for fishing in your area. Good way to link up with new people as well.

for those of you in the cape coral area, I would suggest checking out the SWFL Fishing Club as well.  We are a local, family friendly club that is truly focused on fishing and enjoying time with like minded members.  I am the current sitting President, and my best friend Lee and I co-founded the club from scratch a few years back.
We have all experience levels from novices to hardcore. As with anything, the more effort you put into the club, the more rewarding it will be for you. Member dues are only 50 per year and include 3 club only tournaments per year as well as a slew of other hosted events such as beach raft ups, etc.
The club is a not for profit and the entire board is composed of all volunteers.
If anyone wanted to check out a meeting, we have our next meeting on Thursday, 11/11 at 630 PM at the Rustys Bar and Grill, downtown cape coral in the big room inside.  We average around 100 members in attendance per meeting so make sure to get there early, mingle with some of our members and support Rustys by buying some great food and drinks.
any questions, feel free to reach out to me at 239-878-4736

I am north of Punta Gorda off the river. Fishing has been slow this fall so far. Haven't had a chance to go out much
