Mayport River 9/2

Man, the Mayport boat ramp was empty. It was low tide so we baited up with live finger mullet pretty easily. We fished a favorite muddy shoreline first and managed a few flounder and a trout. When the tide started coming in, we moved further up river. After only 1 more small flounder, we moved to the clapboard area. We positioned up current from a dock, and the mango bite was good. We caught our 3 man limit, and ran back to the ramp.

Here’s the cleaning table…

There seems to be a good amount of undersized flounder around, and the mango bite is on. Y’all go catch’em!
