Where to go?

I bought a Custom Gheenoe 13’ last year and am ashamed to say I haven’t had. it in the water since testing it out.  It had a few issues so I have been ironing them all out.  I am looking for a safe and easy place to launch and would like to target some trout or drum. Actually anything.  I want to stay clear of open water and large boats.  How about Blind Creek area?

I have fished the Herman’s Bay area with a kayak years ago.

I used to have a bass Tender powered by a 6 horse and it also had a Minn kota trolling motor. Would trailer it to Marco Island (only 2 hours away from entrance to Turnpike in Delray Beach).  There is a ramp right next to the bridge you take to Marco.  Had a blast with that thing in the area.  Shallow, Calm.  Caught Snook, jacks, redfish, trout, mangrove snapper, occasional Pompano, Ladyfish etc...  I would like to get something like you have to do that again
