FPI 4/6 & 4/7

Went out both days.  4/6 was a better day for catching.  We picked up a bonita in the first  2 minutes in 120'.  Sent out a cedar plug as the shot, out the round in the rod holder and it went off.  Trolled out to 200' and picked up a small.dolphin.  At 300' found a nice weed line and fished that for awhile.  We ended up getting 7 dolphin, kept 4 and tagged/released the others.

4/7 was as nice day on the water but the  change in wind direction scattered the weeds and the bait.  Trolled for hours looking for something, finally fished north 250-300' and spent most of the day clearing lines.  Got a small dolphin on a planner with a bonita strip.   At the end of the day we get a big sail that rips off a ton of line.  After 15+ minutes we get him close but he breaks off.  Not the way to end the day.
