  Do yourself a big favor and get a jon boat with a trolling motor if nothing else. It will be very hard to find a marina, public or private, that allows you to use their facility for fishing.

  I was looking for a small boat, something for this type of fishing and something I could take to the west coast flats, but had some major house repairs that came up and took me out of the market 🤦🏽‍♂️
  
  It will be something for the future, but for now, it’s land based stuff.

  What about the old bridge pier at vilano ? I've heard of sheephead being caught there.

  Is that the rocks by the boat ramp on rattlesnake island?

  The St. Augustine jettys and the rattlesnake island rocks were the two best "cane pole" sheep head areas around 30 years ago.

  I have not fished that area in many moons so wouldn't know about today.
