Late report went out Monday to flat seas and a blacked out livewell. Stopped by my shallow spot to make sure we had dinner covered before heading offshore. Caught a few barracuda's and a couple of snappers. I got rocked up by what looked to be a big Mutton, only got a quick glance of its tail when he took the bait at the surface. Offshore we found some weeds around 900ft and got some dolphin and a bunch of hungry Almaco jacks. They are actually very tasty in case any of you were wondering. Before heading in we trolled a bit in front of Haulover around 80ft and caught a couple Spanish macs so they are arriving early this year. Heading out tomorrow again before the bad weather arrives.
