Lighthouse Point Park? Any good?

Hey everyone. Was thinking about making the drive to Lighthouse Point Park Thursday to do some fishing. It’s a two hour drive for me. So, I wanted to see if anyone had some experience fishing there before I make my decision.

Please let me know what you’ve caught, is it typically crowded, etc.

I greatly appreciate it!

Why drive 2 hours to fish ponce? Where are you coming from? Next month is very good in the inlet. Multiple areas from beach to jetties you can access from the park. It won’t be to crowded on Thursday. Right now about everything is rolling through the inlet

Really just to try something different. I live in the center of the state. Usually I fish out of St. Augustine or Jacksonville. There are more species down by Ponce that we don’t have as much of here.

St Aug and Jax IMO have better angler access and better fishing.  All of the same species.  Maybe a few more snook down here.
