New Rig

I was able to escape work and Atlanta for a couple of weeks back in July to pick up my new rig, a Bluewater 23T.  I'm still working on getting her outfitted completely, but it was certainly exciting to get her splashed.

Details:
  • Sukuki DF300
  • Simrad NSS16 EVO3,
  • Airmar B175H and B175M transducers,
  • Simrad Halo24 radar,
  • Simrad RS40 VHF,
  • Fusion stereo
  • 50 gallon livewell
  • 12 gallon freshwater washdown
  • Saltwater washdown
  • Gemlux Deluxe outrigger system with fly shade,
  • 180 gallon fuel tank (ouch! when I filled it up)
  • Rhodan 36V 84"trolling motor w/ 3 Ionic lithium batteries
  • Plenty of safety gear: Type I PFDs, EPIRB, PLB, Ditch bag, etc. etc.
It's a big 23, especially with the bracket.  I think the LOA is 25'9".  It ran great in the slop off Indian Pass and actually wants to run faster than I'm used to in those types of seas.

I love the open bow and huge amounts of storage in the deck.  I'm planning on getting a coffin box/cooler to sit atop the forward locker.

Now I just need to escape the ATL more often and gets some hours on her!  If any of y'all are ever in the IP area, let me know and we can go wet a line.
