TEAM TUPPENS NEW RIDE!!!!!!!! SWEEEEEET!

Jerry (Lucky Us) and I took a ride down to Palm Beach due to Steve Sprague's invitation.

We had heard so much of the Brand Spanking New 32' Contender that we had to see it for ourselves.

We were not disappointed.

Steve was gracious enough to give us the personal tour and boy oh boy.... I'm not sure if he realizes how lucky he is.. even though he owns the joint!

Here is Steve standing in front of the new "Garmin" boat as well as the graphics

The T-Top and Rupp riggers really stand out as top quality. You can see the open array Radar Antenna as well (great for finding the birds).

The engines are sweet 300 hp Yami 4 strokes with "fly by wire" controls

Up at the helm, Steve showed Jerry (Capt. Waffle) and I the electronics which included the Garmin 15" touchscreen GPS/SONAR, Autopilot, Fusion Sound System, under the gunwale LED lighting, etc.

The center console opens up in the front with twin struts that easily lift the console for easy access to wiring, electronics etc.

The coffin box at the bow opens up into 2 compartments. In one, Steve has all the emergency or ditch items ie: Epirb, Life Preservers, Horn, etc... the other compartment may be used for whatever you need.

Now, the cool part is.. if your catch doesn't fit in the floor fish compartments at the stern, you can push a button and this same coffin box up front has an electronically operated strut that lifts it open so you can slide your fish in for more large out of the way storage.

All in all, a beautiful boat with great lines, 9'8" beam and a stepped hull that should give it a great ride.

Steve, it was great seeing you today and again, thanks to you and Marty for showing us Tuppens.

Cheers

Eric
