  There's an article in an old Florida Sportsman about fishing Lake Worth Lagoon but here's an old video that may help. There's fish out there, they are spotty but they're there. Here's an old video, hope it helps.

  There are plenty of places to fish right around there with a kayak launch on the north side of the bridge at the west end or you can launch on the south side at Bryant Park. Plenty of bridge pilings, Snook Islands, a little north of that,the eastern seawall out in front of the spillway canal, the spillway canal, then plenty of mangrove cuts and islands on the east side all the way up to Southern Blvd. bridge. If you're more experienced, plenty of people people fish kayaks off the beach all through Palm Beach County. There even are outfitters/guides that specialize in offshore trips. Good luck and be safe.   By the way, Lake Worth would be considered Southeast.
