C/R 10/11/19 Shallow water cobe and mixed bag
With the wind howling, our choices were somewhat limited. We fished our sand trout spot until the tide was right to go shoot for some redfish. We kept 26 fish from our spot, a mixture of sand trout, whiting and one keeper black sea bass. Up by the oyster bars we caught a few rat reds, a keeper mango and a decent shallow water cobia, Dewies first, that gave him what for in the shallow water. Picture is of Dewies share of the fish and the nice job he did frying it up. Seeing more small reds than ever in our spots. Should be great fishing in two or three years.
