Anybody Need Some Speed Jigs?

I've gotten to an age where my speed jigging days are over. I have 10 brand new speed jigs with nice carry pouches that I need to sell. Before I put them up on eBay, I figured I'd see if anybody local wants to buy them first. I don't remember where I got them from, but the pouches say Hogy.

One set of 5 is 160-200 gram butterfly jigs and the other 5 are 220 gram sand eel type jigs. I've had good luck with grouper and AJs around here using these style jigs. I just ended up buying more than I could use.

$30 for each set of 5 or $55 takes them both.

Doc, have you tried slow pitch jigging in the Big Bend area?

I don’t have the gear for true slow pitch jigging. But I’ve had good luck with flat fall jigs, Hogies, and bucktails.

I was going to say, a buck tail is all you need those high priced jigs are nice but out of my price range.

If I have 3 other people fishing bait, I pretty much only bounce a white 2-3 oz bucktail. I have about 10 different jigging motions that I go through. You can pretty much catch anything on a white bucktail. But when there are schools of whitebait around, metal jigs are often better. I use a yellow flatfall jig with a black spot if there are tomtates stacked up over rocks or a wreck.
