Boyton Beach Inlet offshore Monday 9/9

Plenty of mullet on the beach getting hit by tarpon and snook. We've gotten a bunch of cuda bites off them but with the water quality, IMO, it's a waste of time fishing them.

Went offshore for some nice live mullet drifts from 180 to 80, martini tower, in front, LW pier...caught a bunch of those little sharks, sharpnoses maybe? Fishing and water quality is terrible.

Good to hear the mullet are here, maybe a lil early even. Hopefully all of the NE winds forecasted for the next several days will bring in some clean water and with it a few more fish.  Thanks for the report

Thanks for the report, was hoping to get a Tarpon on the beach soon. Looks like it's time to start getting baits out there

We went along Hobe sound beach on Saturday. Found a few Tarpon crashing mullet but could get any takers.
Just have to keep trying until we do.

    Thanks for the report.

Thanks for the report. The hurricanes brought the mullet in earlier. but it also caused the dirty water quality.

    Hey bait masters
im setting up a 150 gal oval bait tank at home. Ever have any problems with temp getting to hot ?
    And if so
any suggestions on cooling and keeping it in the 76 / 78 ° range?

It's hard enough to get them to take your single bait in a school of 10k, keeping your bait on the outside or below the school with a weight is the only chance...but with the water quality such crap it's impossible for them to see that one bait right now...so I'm kinda over it for now, but hard convincing Darcie of this logic. lol

HAHA! Hard to convince anyone that wants to fish that it wont be good. Ran into that last weekend, then had to listen to complaining about bad fishing all day lol
