Pictures are not great...was rushing to get her right back in...37.5 inches
So, This was a day maker fish and if my streak had to end...that's the kind of fish that eases the pain....but I was sure I could do it...if only for a little more luck. Well, I got it...but it was the bad kind...Ran to a solid spot and now that the tide was half way out the fish seemed ready to eat...Get a nice take and get it right to the boat and as I turn to look at the net...OFF! Oh man!
Run to another spot and see a fish...but somehow the line got under the spool....by the time I unbuggered it...the fish was gone.
I start telling myself I need to just head in...it's after 1 PM and conditions are horrible. I have two baits left so I decide to try one or two spots on the way to the ramp.
Luckily ( luck is always important) I stop at a little wind shadow and catch a quick view of a fish moving off out from a blowdown.... It's out over sand now and I get a good presentation.....
I should have a bigger smile...because I was pretty happy....
That's 15 in a row...and #20 this season.... and a fat cow snook to top it off!
With 1 bait left I head to the ramp...but I can't resist...
Yeah... another pretty great day.
Many things to do.
