Nassau Bones

Hunt2871Hunt2871 Washington StatePosts: 6 Deckhand
For some reason my lovely bride has convinced me to go on a cruise and we'll be in Nassau the last Sunday in June.  In another bad life decision I now live in the Pacific Northwest so I hate to be in that part of the world and not wet a line.   Anyone have any idea if there are any flats that are wadeable within a half hour taxi ride or so from the cruise ship terminal in Nassau?  If not anyone have any experience trying to find a guide in Nassau?  I've heard bad things about the one guide who is well known in the area and I can't tolerate the thought of bottom fishing off a cruise ship connected "charter".  I'm not opposed to chunking cast masters and hawk jigs right at the cruise ship terminal if it ain't frowned upon....ought to be some jacks about if nothing else.

Try 2424360040 for Mr Walker. He used to be my livebait guy on Nassau and I have had many many fun days bonefishing with him.
There are some Diy spots available within 15 mins of the cruise ships but its going to be easier to go with a guide given your time frame
