  Not a problem as long as you have an Alabama license.  You must have a state license to fish any state, regardless of where you launch.

  What Klinger said.  If you leave from FL and go through AL to federal water and go through AL on your way back to FL, if you have fish aboard you have to have an Alabama license.  If you are checked while fishing in fed water off of Alabama, same thing.

  Alabama changed their state waters to 9 miles like Florida, if out in federal water doesn't matter if you have Alabama licenses or not, however those couple of close rigs get checked often...
