I am glad to only be a bird hunter with bird dogs...being a shooter or dog handler or whatever other niche exists to separate appears to generate far too much about which to worry.

They just went over Reef Fish Amendment 50, which will turn over red snapper management to the Gulf states. But the total allowable catch and commercial vs rec split will still be determined by the Feds. Florida would have the authority set the dates, however.
The only thing I learned is that the dates for 2019 are still not settled. Maybe the recs might get their 30 days spread over weekends instead of 30 days in a row.
Free beer and pizza would incite a riot and set a record for attendence!!!!!
