I've been eye banging this one. If it is as good as it looks and it was within a 10 hour drive it would be in the garage. You could not build it for near the 56k price.

When you do something like that, you hardly ever get anywhere near your money back. That's a well done Camaro.

    I agree.

This is a second mouse gets the cheese deal. At 56k you could probably keep the car for 5-10 year and break even or even get a little appreciation.

That car checks all the boxes for me. Period correct 429 BB, 4spd, houndstooth interior, AC, Hugger Orange, no stripes, steelies with poverty caps.

The only change I would make when the time came would be some Goodyear repop original tires.

Silly, it’s illegal to drive a car if you’ve lost your license. Obviously he’s taking it to the quicky mart for a slim Jim.

Did not sell it,  had it towed over to Orlando to get some work done while I moved the family up to SC last spring.   The car is still in the Deland area in a buddies garage and I have moved on to airplanes.  Current plan is to trailer it up here in the spring and start driving it again.  However,  If anyone would like to seriously chat about buying it, please send me a PM.     I have owned it for 30 years and purchased form the 2nd owner in MD  the important  numbers match (engine, trans...), but could use an interior and new front end,  the car is a '66 and the last owner put a '67 front end on it..

Like I said before, makes me sick I could buy these cars used in high school for $1800.  Had a few friends that practically gave away GTO Judge, Hemi Cudas, Chevelles with Cowell injection etc. That's what everyone drove in Ft Lauderdal, except me in 1974. I drove a F 250 with a 460 850 double pump Holly getting 6 mpg making $2.00 an hour. It"s all relative. Gas went from 35 cents to 65 cents. My insurance went to $450 a year at 18 years old. Had to sell. I'd kill for that truck back today.

    If only we knew.
