Saturday PC report

Tried for flounder without any luck around the jetty rocks, there was a decent ground swell that made it hard to work that area.
Ran down to the pier and to the cape and only saw one Spanish jump, a few birds diving here and there, but no major feeding. Tried the buoy line for triple tail, saw one decent fish that basically refused a free-lined shrimp on a 2/0 hook w/ 30# flouro. Saw one boat catch reel nice one inside the port from a marker. A lot of dredge work seemed to have the water pretty muddy colored even down to pier and in front of cape. If any surfers wanted to surf off the cape the break was beautiful with some 5 ft swells curling out there on the bars.

sounds like you gave it a good effort, in years past the north bank east of the drawbridge(sand) was a good flounder area. used to fish it from shore and do pretty good but was years ago.
