  I found several
  of these at a lower keys boat launch last February. I figured before I took them apart to reuse parts I’d ask what species they were for

  I use rigs like that for wahoo trolling ballyhoo. I run my wire a little shorter though.

  A type of a double hook ballyhoo rig. You can "quick rig" a ballyhoo with this one versus the type where both hooks are in the  same alignment and a open eye hook is required.
