  They are there year round.

  More move in during the cooler weather.
  

  THERE SHOULD BE NO COMMERCIAL FISHING ALLOWED FOR ANY SPECIES THAT IS CONSIDERED OVERFISHED.

  Thanks for the feedback.  Going to head out Friday.  Debating to troll the channel or nearshore hard bottom.

  There's a LOT of red tide outside the bay between 25' and 60' deep west of us.

  Not much of a report but I worked Port Manatee channel pretty hard Friday and only managed two short gags.  Went out Saturday and got a limit of snapper at the skyway then worked manatee channel again - no luck.  Moved out of the channel and worked some rock piles in the bay.  Got 6 gags on the troll but no keepers.  Most all hit rapala xrap 20 in fire tiger.  Not sure where the bigger fish are.  Maybe we need another front to bring them in.

  Too early? 😂😂 it’s almost too late! Normally it’s great until the water temps drop significantly, but this year’s red tides have definitely put a damper in what is usually my best time of year

  Bill - Maybe my tactics need to be adjusted but I’ve had better luck in the past.  Primarily inside the skyway.  May start exploring outside the skyway.
