27 Sept 2018... Wabasso/Vero...Worked on the S's this week, Snapper, Snook, Sheepshead, no Sail Cat. Water quality, poor at best. Trying to put together a pattern for the Treasure Coast Marina Tournament Slam. No Trout or Reds today, spent the day pitching docks. Sight fishing Sheepshead tough with dirty water. Sometimes it is a grey blob or the flash of a tail. Most of the victims today on the Baby Vudu Shrimp. Started at Pine Island, nothing. Next stop Hobart Landing, Trash Can Slam. Hole in the Wall pretty Dead, a couple of short Snook. Grand Harbor, nothing. Vero, McCullars Cove. Pitching docks, searching for Sheepshead, land a 24 inch Snook. Later get an 18 inch Sheepshead. Had 15 Snook for the day. Easy limit of Snapper. Quit counting. Mullet run is on, boats at South end of preachers, zoo this time of year. All players released for future encounters.

Snook from Vero on 19 Sept. Released.
