  It's called Gravity...
  Water flows downstream , when there's lot's of water it flows really fast and sometimes trees float by.
  That's been my experience so far.

  Canals were built to move water. Sometimes flow is passive, typically during dry seasons and sometimes rolling during rainy seasons or heavy storm events. It's normal.

  Do they let you drive on the levy? We were told they don't let you drive on them to hunt..

  U could drive your Chevy to the levy but the levy might be dry
