I used to see them in the lakes near Saw Grass Mill Outlets...the big freeze a few years ago put a hurting on them. Anyone know whether they've rebounded in that area? Would rather not travel down into Dade if possible
While I have not been to the lakes near Sawgrass Mills, I can say for certain the peacocks have rebounded as far north as Lake Worth. We were catching them on New Years Eve in some of those canals. So, I don't see how they couldn't have come back at Sawgrass Mills.
They are in Weston for sure. Like, every canal and pond in Weston. So are Mayan cichlids. I don't see why they wouldn't be all over Sawgrass Mills too.
