Quick Wading Trip Tues Eve

Slipped in a spot in Bradenton area around 430 on Tuesday. Lots of grass and darker than normal water clarity - I opted for the gold spoon. Got to an area with some good potholes and nailed this beauty. Was chased off by storms shortly thereafter. Johnson Gold Spoon modified lol.... That modification is why the fish ate :)

Solid Red!!! Throwing spoons is one of my favorite lures to use for Reds. Is that some glitter glue you put on the spoon?

lol yep. before I had my son.... That and working from home for 12 years (had lots of time on my hands). Yeah, I glitter glued a bunch of lures. Most of my topwater bellies have a smudge of red glitter glue.
