SI on the 4th

Looking to use the boat ramp at the state park on the 4th. I've been there on many weekends, but never on a holiday.  I know on a normal weekend parking can be tricky after 8am or so. One tournament weekend we pulled up at 6:15am and ended up in the overflow lot by the pavilions.
How early do I need to get to the ramp to ensure I have a parking spot on the 4th?  I'm hoping since it's midweek this year, it won't be too bad.
TIA

Not sure how the midweek holiday will play out, but I'd guess after 8 is pushing it.

If you need a fallback plan, there are almost always some rv/trailer spots available by the T dock.  You can park there and have someone drive the boat around to pick you up off the dock.

Thanks.  I had forgotten that other lot.
