Boca Mahi 6-27

After a slow start, things picked up at the 46 line with a nice strike on the long line with a blue/white illander. Wife did a great job of clearing lines, keeping us on track, and a big gaf to close the deal. Turned to head back and found the rest. We could have limited but didn't want to clean all those smaller ones. Let them live another week so they will grow! Btw the bull was 30 lbs

Awesome!!! Pardon my ignorance, but may you please explain what the 46 line means? Went out to 800 feet today, worked some nice weed patches between 600 and 800, a few dolphin no keepers. Dropped anchor on the way in, fished the bottom, came up with some keeper yellowtails and a nice yellowfin tuna on the troll.

46 is the first two digits of the decimal minutes in a longitude line.

Ex.: 79 degrees 49.00'   This is about 18 miles east of Boca Inlet.
