More Good news!

The Chinese Finance Ministry said Tuesday that it will cut import duties on passenger vehicles to from 25% to 15%, starting July 1.

The announcement, which fulfills an earlier pledge by Chinese President Xi Jinping, comes just days after China and the United States agreed to a ceasefire in their recent trade hostilities.

Would have been a smart move to ramp up production on sedans by Ford....OOPS

#China is winning the negotiations. Their concessions are things they planned to do anyways. In exchange they get no tariffs, can keep stealing intellectual property & can keep blocking our companies while they invest in the U.S. without limits. #Losing https://wapo.st/2k9aMEK?tid=ss_tw&utm_term=.035c590b1b4e …

Trump pulling back from the proposed US tariffs, a 10% drop in auto tariffs, and then ceasing fire in the trade war is winning?

Your definition of winning is quite different from mine, and it seems to me the president has figured out he stands no chance.

More to the point:  How's that trade deficit working out?

This is about China making it easier for foreign countries to export cars INTO China.
