Jupiter Offshore Saturday 5-12

Headed out early Saturday offshore Jupiter. The plan was to chum and drift baits for dolphin along with some bottom fishing. We headed out to @400' and chumed up. The east wind was pushing us westward. We did that for a while and had no bites or action in our chum slick, but saw a few boats trolling along it.

After that we did some bottomfishing with sardines. We caught a few small grunts and muttons. At the end I caught a nice red grouper that saved the day and provided for some mothers day table fare. Coconut crusted!!

All in all kind of slow

Did the same live baited. Didn't use wire and lost a few to toothy critters.
