Well it seems to be the same report again.  The west winds are sure making things tough, at least for me.  Trolled south of Ft Pierce inlet today.  Spent most of the time around 280-310 ft.  There was a "weed line" but I'm using that term loosely to match the line.  Basically spent the morning cleaning lines.  Had a short bite on a naked ballyhoo pretty quickly, actually in about 15 mins.  that was good news because it was the first time I tried that set up.... using the rigging twine.  Anyway the winds died around noon and then started out of the south so I was able to find a pretty good line around 200-220 and trolled that south some more.  Had another short bite...actually at first I was swearing thinking it was some more weeds.  I did see a nice sailfish but when we trolled by no hit.  Overall it was another slow day.  Starting to think I'm doing something wrong.   Anyone have any better success.
