"I've got a 23' boat and am looking to get out on the water and do some fishing. I'm looking for someone who wants share the cost, catch some fish, drink a few beers, and talk about how great Trump is. I'm retired and flexible about when I can go out. Hit me up if your interested."

By expenses do you mean, boat ins, boat payment, maintenance on boat, motors, trailer, and tow vehicle, storage, plus 50% of all the expenses incurred by me over the last 25 years looking for good fishing spots? If so hit me up.

Really?  I wouldn’t think that’s necessary.  Offering to split the days expenses is more than fair.  I just ask that people bring ice and their own food.  Gas money is customary but I tell people ahead of time it’s not necessary. I find that my friends come fishing with me more often because they know there is no pressure to fork over fuel money.  Let’s be honest, even fuel for a day can be expensive and for most people these days that can be a strain on the family budget.  I’d rather they come than not

Previously I invited a member of this forum to be my guest (without charge) but once aboard he frequently cursed and used profanity so I repeatedly (with gentleness and tact) requested that he refrain but he was either unwilling or unable to tame his unruly tongue. Unfortunately his countenance further deteriorated so we returned back to the ramp where his mood improved markedly. His lack of respect and ungratefulness for my hospitality was remarkable!

You call evil good and call good evil. You turn darkness into light and light into darkness. You make what is bitter sweet, and what is sweet you make bitter.

I, like you do not expect any money from my friends either.  Friends aren't just a random person off the interweb like this case.

I personally do not like the banter.
But why not meeting friends on this fishing site.
I have truly met some really great dudes to fish with rite here rite now.
    Truly.
I dont know what your definition of friends is/are but we like to fish thats a common bond.
I have met Chilean fisherman in Valparaiso that were hard core and fished with them.
    Friends
