Ft George 3-16-18

It was the first day of Spring Break for Duval County, so I took my boys up to Ft George. It was cold this morning, so we got a late start. We caught the last of the out going, and soaked some live shrimp at a dock. We caught a nice sheepshead, but noting else. The boys wanted to explore some sandbars, so we pulled lines and beached the boat. While goofing off on a sandbar, Griff caught a nice sheepshead. We stayed a little while longer, but no more bites. We headed home w/ 2 nice fish, and fun day in the sun.

Here's a pic of the boys w/ the fish...

And here's a small vid of the day...

🤙🏽 Atta boy for getting your sons amped up for something other than a video game like most kids today!!!! Thanks for the report, just got home from Palm Valley fishin the incoming tide under the dock lights and got goose egged. Plenty of bait in the water but couldn’t keep our baits away from the little mangrove snapper and weakfish long enough to get the trout we were after.  Last week was the exact opposite but I’m gonna try north tomorrow.

Good times with family, that's what it is all about.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you
