Sebastian Ramp info....

Against my better judgement... I figured this could be important info with mini season upon us.

Main street is going to fill up fast...so if you are coming from the north...you may want to use either Christiansens or Jorgensons...or pay the few bucks and use the ramp at the inlet.
There are many roads to travel
Many things to do.
Knots to be unraveled

    Maybe some enterprising person could use property between the two docks to nowhere (that are not used) to launch boats like this. I just got back from a three and a half month trip to Alaska and thought, just maybe the dock would be fixed by now.

    You need to go on another 3 . 5 month trip....then you may see a ramp... :wink

    They also posted big signs to keep people out..... threatening trespassers with arrest

    Where exactly are Christiansens or Jorgensons ramps?

    I found Christiansens. It is far from the inlet. Main Street looks like it is only good for smaller boats.

    US1 in Grant, they are 1/4 mile from each other.

    Wow, how on earth did they get it done so fast. Less than 11 months.

    An update on an ever increasing problem;
     Ramp closed again this weekend (actually 3 days). Parking needed for yet another special event. This is really getting ridiculous. Funds allocated for repair of docks, paving parking lot and taking some of this parking area for car parking.  I was told that this property was given to the city for boat trailer parking many years ago. Sebastian touts its access to the "beautiful" waters next to the city to attract new residents. Looks like we have a few days of great boating weather and it will be interesting to see what the parking situation will be on US-1.  May have to drive up to Brevard county to travel back to the inlet.

    I was going to post this...tomorrow, Sat & Sun....For "shrimpfest"

    Any time the city gets a cut...or has some other vested interest...they think nothing of shutting down Yacht club so there can be "parking" for Riverview park events. That is part of the reason why we have no bait & tackle in front of the ramp anymore....so many closed weekends...a business cannot survive in "A sleepy fishing village" like that....Fishing village my ****!

    Send them to the Overflow parking area........The little Sleepy Fishing Village, can make more $$ by providing Shuttle Service.

    It was crazy at Main street today....all spots taken before 6:45..... I had to use an alternate ramp.
