Big female sheepshead are migrating inshore at Fernandina 2/1/18

Salty DogSalty Dog Posts: 174 Deckhand

Went to my Fernandina inshore sheepshead fishing spot today during the last half of the falling tide. Using fiddler crabs, I caught 7 sheepshead, one 4pd black drum and one small red drum. Four of the sheepshead were big females weighing 8pd, 7.5pd, 7pd and 6pd! Looks like the big female sheepshead have started their migration from off shore to inshore already!
