Daylight saving time frustrating
To Mr. Cox, who asked "Where does saved daylight shine?": I recently read your Dec. 15 letter regarding Daylight Saving Time (DST) and thought it would be helpful to respond and address your concerns.
I, too, am frustrated at the fact that when I get home from work it is too dark to do outside chores or even just enjoy our beautiful, natural surroundings in our district. That is why I am co-sponsoring Senate Bill 858, Daylight Saving Time. This bill will exempt the state of Florida from daylight saving time and require that we observe standard time.
If you’d like more information on Senate Bill 858, please do not hesitate to reach out to my office. Additionally, more information on my sponsored and co-sponsored bills can be found in my weekly newsletter, the Mayfield Minute.
