Louisville

With the pending sanctions looming I wonder if football won't follow. Given the circumstances I wonder how this will affect the athlete's ability to transfer without a waiting period?

I'm sure this may be a looming epidemic maybe coming to a school near and dear to you.

I'm sure there are some issues with football, but one player does not make as much of a difference to a team (and revenues) as it does in basketball. Also, who wears what shoes in football isn't a factor in sales like it is in basketball. What shoes do Brady, Rogers, or did Manning or Favre wear?

Agreed, the shoe companies are investing in these kids with a reasonable idea of a return.

Bobby lost his AD to protect him. He'll be out of there soon enough.

Take Lamar Jackson of Louisville and they are Boston College. He is everything to that team.

    Exceptions to every rule.

Did anyone read the story how this came about? It was an old con man that got in with the feds and went to the schools acting like an agent & recorded all this stuff on the coaches. I read it yesterday but I didn't copy the link.

My brain is giving out can't even spell anymore.

Pitino is now allegedly tied directly to funneling funds to the 5* recruit.

Do you listen to Evan Cohen ? Curious as to what you think of his opinion. It seems talk radio Sports Guys are falling in line with paid college players and now maybe even high school... Everything that WAS always changes with money. More money from the top to divert things in the direction they want... How will a school like FAU ever land a decent high school recruit if the boosters of the top 25 schools in the country can Purchase the rights to high school players at the age of 13. Where we are headed, just a slower process...

Nike is now involved as well. I will be very surprised if this doesn't trickle down to football for a LOT of teams once the people arrested start talking.

There wouldn't be a game on Saturday if they follow the SEC around.......

Nonsensical comment as usual. Like you said FSU is better than us right, not a chance our backup isn't a Ethiopian. Feed that kid....

Been going on for over 30 years bro. There is always some **** that will do the deed. Again I come from a very famous football school and I will tell you this is everyday business in the SEC football.

Duke has a good shot at UMijami this weekend.

Know what's funny? Corch Urban commenting on how he thinks cheating coaches should lose their job and not be able to corch again.

Tell us all about Louisville accomplishments before Lamar showed up. I'll be waiting....

    Bowl Record: 20 Bowls, 9-10-1, .475 W-L% (Major Bowls)
Ranked in AP Poll: 8 Times (Preseason), 11 Times (Final), 140 Weeks (Total)

Actually I think Boston College like was a little overstated. Maybe Duke like :rotflmao

All I know crunchy is Louisville is the most successful and profitable sports program in the country. They have more money than you minuscule program and always will. The scandals will be resolved and they will again dwarf your small program. Yes football has been built from the ground up in 1/20 of the time it took FSU. I know you don't want to talk about the rest of it because there are these programs will survive and rebuild. What you better worry about is how a nobody program started recruiting in the top 10 every year and played in a high school gym like FSU does. How do you think they got those top 10 recruits the last 5-6 years? It wasn't because of the facilities or the coach that's for dam sure. Theirs high schools who have better. All is takes is one kid at FSU to tell the truth and your basketball coach came from the institution of corruption UK. Talk to you when we play you in football you better get allot better than you are now or you will get embarrassed again if your anorexic QB can survive.
